Laura Gabor

Laura (she/her) is the co-founder and COO of Ecologicca, and the founder of What in the Tech. Her background in operational management, strategy, and digital transformation has led her on a journey through many industries from government, to finance, to media, and now, tech. Laura is passionate about community building and philanthropy, has been an active mentor in a number of Women-focused organizations, and is currently a member of the Tech+Biz4SickKids Council. She's an angel investor in 4 women-founded companies, was named one of The Peak's 24' Emerging Leaders for tech and one of Canada's Top Operators by TechTO. Most recently Laura made headlines (literally!) as the co-author and publisher of an open letter that called on Canada's tech community to come together and show support for diversity and inclusion remaining a fundamental priority for the industry.
