Emily Jin

Emily Jin (she/her) is a Consultant at MASS LBP in Toronto, a firm dedicated to meaningful public engagement and reimagining how we relate to and participate in public life. At MASS, she supports deliberative democratic processes such as citizens’ assemblies and facilitates interactive community and skill-building workshops through the Democracy Fitness program.
Emily brings extensive experience as a public servant at both the federal and provincial levels, having worked on a wide range of public policy issues. She has also served as a policy and research consultant for non-profit organizations, conducting environmental and legislative scans on critical topics including climate change and housing.
Driven by a passion for community engagement, Emily has worked alongside people from many corners of Canadian society. She is committed to applying an intersectional lens to all stages of the policy process, recognizing that amplifying marginalized voices is essential to preventing harm and creating meaningful, lasting impact.
