Pat Whelan is a product leader at LinkedIn focused on helping job seekers find rewarding jobs & employers with products like the Jobs tab and Open-to-Work. He joined LinkedIn via the acquisition of the start-up he co-founded, Paddle HR — a venture-backed start-up focused on helping employees find internal opportunities within enterprise companies, serving customers like Rogers, JP Morgan, Sky, and The Body Shop.
Outside of his career in technology, Pat has served in leadership roles in political campaigns at all levels in Canada, getting his start after being elected President of the University Students' Council at Western University. He co-founded the Open Democracy Project, a founding organization of the DemocracyXChange.
