Welcome to the DemocracyXChange 2025 Summit Participant Guide! We want to make sure that you get the most out of the summit and have an opportunity to share your ideas and connect with other participants. All relevant participant updates and resources will be available here in preparation for and throughout the summit.

That's a Wrap!
The sixth annual DemocracyXChange is officially in the books and we are so inspired by the incredible community of more than 800 participants who joined us last weekend to engage with more than 90 presenters at 4 venues over 3 days. This year's record-breaking crowd helped create a summit that challenged our assumptions, offered tangible advice and sparked meaningful action; proving that together we can build a stronger, more resilient democracy.

We are working on compiling workshop findings, summit stats and additional resources to share. We will circulate reports on both the summit and the Democracy Futures workshop outcomes in the coming weeks.

Democracy Futures Toolkit

A Bilingual Open-Source Digital Toolkit to explore the Future of Democracy in Canada. Designed for the 2024 DemocracyXChange Summit, OCAD U CO provides this toolkit to empower citizens across Canada (and beyond) to convene groups and facilitate similar workshop sessions to explore the future of democracy.

To ensure all attending can enjoy the DemocracyXChange Summit, participants agree to the Code of Conduct. Please ensure you have reviewed it in advance of attending.

DemocracyXChange Virtual Event Details

DemocracyXChange is a hybrid event, with livestreamed main stage events taking place on all three days of DXC25 from April 3–5. All registered attendees have access to view the live event feed at democracyxchange.org/live.
