Inspire Democracy is an Elections Canada outreach program that works with community organizations and leaders to reduce barriers to participating in federal elections. Through partnerships, tools and information resources, the program helps Canadians learn how to register, vote, work at the polls or run as a candidate. Inspire Democracy focuses especially on communities that may face greater barriers to electoral participation, including Indigenous electors, people with disabilities, youth and new Canadians. By supporting trusted local organizations, the program helps ensure more Canadians can access information and exercise their democratic rights.

Students for a Free Tibet Toronto is a youth-led grassroots organization dedicated to advocating for Tibetan freedom and human rights. As a local chapter of Students for a Free Tibet, SFT Toronto organizes protests, educational events, cultural programs, and political advocacy campaigns across Toronto. The group mobilizes students and community members to raise awareness about China’s occupation of Tibet, amplifies Tibetan voices, and builds solidarity movements to push for justice, self-determination, and accountability through nonviolent direct action and community organizing.
