This workshop examines what happens when economies centre care, connection, and community rather than market power. Participants will explore the idea of the love economy and how supporting care is essential to human wellbeing while also strengthening economic resilience and reducing long‑term costs. We will look at how market driven disruption has often harmed social fabrics and consider how humane forms of disruption can still spark innovation while protecting relationships and communities. The session will guide participants in reflecting on how to centre care in their own work and influence, and how to champion approaches that support people over profit.
