Amanda Munday

Executive Director, New Majority

Amanda is the Executive Director of New Majority, a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to activating youth civic engagement through widespread ground GOTV work. Before joining the organization they founded The Workaround, a coworking and childcare space for parents in Toronto’s east end, with more than 2,000 members and significant media for the innovative model including Fast Company, Forbes, CBC, Bloomberg and more. Amanda is a TED speaker and best selling mental health author of the postpartum depression memoir Day Nine, along with being an active contributor to The Globe and Mail. They were directly involved and a strong advocate for the Ontario-based development of the Canada Wide Early Learning Childcare bilateral agreement ($10/day childcare) with the federal government.
