Daniel Roher is a filmmaker from Toronto, Canada. His first film was a music documentary about The Band and was executive produced by Martin Scorsese and Ron Howard. His follow up, NAVALNY, won Sundance’s 2022 Festival Favourite Award, the BAFTA Award for Best Documentary as well as the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. In addition to his work in film he is an accomplished visual artist whose work has exhibited in galleries around the world.
