John Milloy

Director of the Centre for Public Ethics and Assistant Professor, Martin Luther University College

John currently serves as the Director of the Centre for Public Ethics and Assistant Professor of Public Ethics at Martin Luther University College – formerly Waterloo Lutheran Seminary and is the inaugural Practitioner in Residence in Wilfrid Laurier’s Political Science Department. He is also a lecturer in the University of Waterloo's Master of Public Service Program. He is a frequent commentator on issue surrounding faith and public life and is the author of Politics and Faith in a Polarized World: A Challenge for Catholics (Novalis, 2021)

 

From 2003 to 2014, John served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario for the riding of Kitchener Centre, holding several Cabinet Posts. Prior to his time at Queen’s Park John for several senior Cabinet Ministers on Parliament Hill, including five years in the office of Prime Minister Jean Chrétien.
