Nataly De Monte

Nataly De Monte is Senior Advisor, Strategic Initiatives at OCAD University, where she designs ecosystem-scale collaborations that position creativity as a driver of social change. Her work centers underrepresented creators and reimagines the role of artists in shaping public life. Previously, as Director of CFC Media Lab, she led national and international programs in immersive media, including Scale Up Immersive for Black creators in immersive media and the UK–Canada Immersive Exchange for bi-national coproductions. In 2019, she led the launch of Fifth Wave, Canada’s first intersectional feminist business accelerator, supporting 100+ women entrepreneurs to grow digital media enterprises rooted in equity and sustainability. An executive producer of DemocracyXChange since 2017, Nataly also co-created Canada’s first civic summit for democratic renewal with the founding team. Her throughline? Building structures of support, visibility, and shared power for creators, entrepreneurs, and cultural leaders—while weaving care, access, and intentionality into every layer of design.
