Seher Shafiq

Seher leads global community engagement for Mozilla Foundation (the non-profit behind Firefox), where she focuses on building a better tech future that puts people first. 

Seher’s civic experience includes co-designing civic programming for newcomers across Canada, leading multiple national non-partisan voter engagement campaigns, and several years working in the non-profit sector on issues ranging from immigration, civic leadership, health promotion, international development, and social entrepreneurship. 

Seher is also an experienced writer, speaker, and consultant whose commentary has been featured in radio, print, and TV with CBC, TVO, Global News, CTV CP24, Toronto Star, Al Jazeera, and more.
