Explore possible futures for Canada around digital sovereignty, creative resistance, and civic resilience—drawing inspiration from Cory Doctorow’s critique of digital locks, monopolistic tech platforms, and erosion of repair and creative rights. Centered on playful activities to extrapolate forward to design interventions towards a more inclusive future for all.

Jailbreaking Canada was developed with participants at OCAD's Super Ordinary Lab and game:play Lab, to playfully design futures prototypes and design thinking tools to scaffold a range of ways that we might collectively design for a more equitable future together.
