Founding Executive Director, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst
Charles Finlay is a recognized cybersecurity and technology policy advocate and leader. He is the Founding Executive Director of Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst at Toronto Metropolitan University — a major centre for cyber training, commercial innovation, applied research and public education. Charles has a professional background in government, law and journalism; prior to founding the Catalyst, he served as Chief of Staff for the Ontario Minister of Economic Development and Growth, practiced law at BMO Capital Markets and Torys LLP, wrote for The Globe and Mail and other national publications, and worked as a technology researcher at Forrester Research. He is a regular commentator on technology and cyber issues in national and international media.
