Dilara Baysal

Dilara Baysal is a postdoctoral researcher at Bishop’s University whose work lies at the intersection of the sociology of labour and political economy, with a particular focus on technological change. Her research examines how digitalization and emerging technologies are reshaping work, labor relations, and economic life. She pays close attention to the experiences of workers navigating these transformations.

Alongside her academic career, she has worked in the technology sector in Toronto. This experience informs her scholarly perspective and grounds her research in lived experience. Her work is particularly attentive to the challenges workers face in rapidly evolving industries, including issues of precarity, inequality, and shifting power dynamics.
