Jean-François Parent

Jean-François Parent est directeur-adjoint des relations publiques et de la recherche au Réseau de développement économique et d’employabilité du Canada (RDÉE Canada). Titulaire d’une maîtrise en géographie de l’Université d’Ottawa, se spécialisant dans l’étude des communautés francophones et acadienne en contexte minoritaire, ses recherches l’ont amené à examiner en profondeur le portrait socio-économique et entrepreneurial de ces communautés. Ayant travaillé pendant plus de 13 ans pour plusieurs organismes francophones, dont le Muséoparc Vanier ainsi qu’Impact ON, et ayant siégé sur de nombreux comités et conseils d’administration, il apporte une lunette d’analyse précise, à la croisée de divers champs d’études.

Jean-François Parent is the Deputy-Director of public relations and research at the Economic Development and Employability Network of Canada (RDÉE Canada). Holding a master’s degree in Geography from the University of Ottawa, specializing in the study of Francophone and Acadian communities within a minority context, his research has led him to examine in depth the socio-economic and entrepreneurial profile of those communities. Having worked for the last 13 years for several Francophone organizations, including the Vanier Museopark and Impact ON, and having served on numerous committees and boards of directors, he brings a precise analytical perspective, drawing on various fields of study.
