Jutta Treviranus is the Director of the Inclusive Design Research Centre (IDRC) and professor in the faculty of Design at OCAD University in Toronto. Treviranus chaired the Technical Committee that developed Canada's first — and the world's first — standard on accessible and equitable AI, released in December 2025 under the Accessible Canada Act. Treviranus also Chairs OCAD University's AI Advisory Committee, which developed institutional policy on generative AI for teaching and creative practice.
