Lexa Michaelides

Lexa Michaelides is a program manager and member-worker at Hypha Worker Co-operative, a Canadian tech co-op that works with partners like the Starling Lab for Data Integrity and Open Archive to build tools which cryptographically authenticate and preserve media. Lexa brings a dual approach to the issue of content provenance, building technical solutions to validate digital information and connecting with people to refine their understanding of what it means to trust but verify. With degrees in management engineering and sciences from the University of Waterloo, her background combines information systems with a grounded human perspective on trust and co-operation between humans and machines.
