Lead, Policy and Strategic Initiatives, Democratic Engagement Exchange
Madeleine Case is the Lead, Policy and Strategic Initiatives at the Democratic Engagement Exchange at Toronto Metropolitan University. Her work focuses on strengthening democratic participation through partnerships, cross-sector collaboration, and research. A former federal political staffer, Maddie brings experience from government to her work on democratic engagement.
Maddie is also a Youth Fellow with the Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy at McGill University, focusing on youth engagement and the evolving digital information environment through a project called Gen(Z)AI.
She holds a Master’s of Public Policy and Administration from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from Queen’s University.
