Nathalie Sirois

Senior Manager, Education, Global Centre for Pluralism

Nathalie Sirois leads the Global Centre for Pluralism’s efforts to develop learning experiences for educators and other leaders interested in making pluralism a lived experience in their own specific contexts.

She spent over 20 years in K-12 public education in Ontario, first as a community worker, then as a teacher, instructional coach, consultant, in various system leadership roles and as an advisor and coach to senior leaders on advancing pluralism. As one of the first Senior Advisors for Equity, Human Rights and Pluralism in a French-language school board in Canada, she contended daily with the systemic effects of the double minoritization of francophone students and staff from historically marginalized and underserved communities. Her own journey of learning and healing has brought her to offer training and to publish various resources on trauma-informed practice for educators and on educational leadership.

With passionate curiosity, she continues to contributed to a variety of professional learning collaboratives focused on developing and strengthening pluralistic practice in Canada and internationally.
