Emerging Leaders Workshop
Making the Future
Young people are proving that democracy thrives when they take the lead. They are already shaping the economic, cultural, and civic systems that will define Canada’s democratic future. Across the country, emerging leaders are responding to the cost of living, digital disruption, and declining trust in institutions with creativity, courage, and collective action.
Emerging Leaders: Making the Future brings together emerging leaders from Generations A to Z to examine how today’s economic pressures and political realities are reshaping democracy—and how young people are building new pathways for leadership, participation, and impact.
Through hands-on sessions, expert insights, and peer collaboration, participants will:

-
Understand the forces driving economic change and disruption
-
Discover examples of youth-led initiatives transforming communities, institutions, and industries from the ground up
-
Develop practical skills to lead, organize, and influence in complex environments
-
Connect with a network of peers and mentors committed to strengthening democracy and advancing shared prosperity
This workshop series celebrates the power of emerging leaders to turn challenges into opportunity, equipping participants with both the context and confidence to drive meaningful change.
